This project started off as a simple obsession… I kept buying jars at thrift shops—old candy jars, vintage canisters, apothecary glass with just the right scratches and quirks. One thing led to another, and now I’m a small business owner.

The DIY terrarium kits are what started this all off. They’re more than just a kit — they’re a second life for forgotten glass, each with its own charm and story. I clean and prep every container by hand, choosing pieces with character and presence, not mass-market uniformity. No two are ever quite the same.

Each kit comes with everything you need to build a miniature world: sand for the drainage layer, soil for substrate, hand-selected plants, hardscape elements like stone or wood, and ongoing support from me if you have any questions or need guidance. As of May 12, 2025, I’ve sold at least 20 kits and continue to offer them regularly at local craft and maker fairs throughout the Puget Sound area.
